We work with some of the most prestigious Hotel Brands in the World. Rosewood
London, voted “best new hotel in the world” in 2014, is one of our more recent
customers. We are a “next generation mobile software company” that transforms
the relationship between the guest and the hotel environment he/she finds
themselves in. We build ‘Smart Apps’ that adapt to this environment, and that look
to optimize the guest experience whilst seamlessly increasing the revenues for
hotel owners. These hotel owners understand that the power now lies in the palm
of their guest and they are keen to capitalize on this growing opportunity.
Business Development Manager role:
One of the key roles to drive the Global expansion out of our new head office in
Charlotte Street, London. Your primary role will be to set up a Global sales strategy
and ensure we deliver on it. This will involve everything from helping develop the
initial strategy, coordinating the sales planning, ensuring meetings are in the diary
and are delivered on. It’ll also need someone who can spot opportunities and
support the main Sales team in positioning the GFI suite of products as a business-
critical purchase. We are looking for a leader able to make things happen.
What you'll do:
- • Launch and manage the expansion plan.
- • Help build the Sales strategy with the CEO and Global Sales Director, proactively getting involved to make sure we are being very smart about who we approach and how.
- • Implement the sales strategy (with others).
- • Getting leads in the diary and coordinating with the team.
- • Helping the Sales team get the sales over the line.
- • Coordinating all the global Sales teams.
- • Ensuring everyone is 100% clear about what is expected of them and by when.
What you'll need:
- • At least 3-5 years in a similar role (Management Consulting, Media Buying or Strategy types role).
- • Fluency in English. Bonus for additional aptitude, especially Mandarin or Japanese.
- • Extremely data focus, advanced excel skills, and CRM systems like Sales would be beneficial.
- • Have excellent organization skills and attention to detail. We really need
this.
- • You will need to be energetic, passionate and driven. Like, very hungry.
- • You will need to be excited by the thrill of the chase. Some people like
sales, some people LOVE sales. You’ll need to love it...
- • Entrepreneurial spirit. But not just to say it, more to really demonstrate it.
Always thinking two steps ahead or looking for new ways to do things.
- • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills are crucial. You’ll be dealing
with people at all levels – from GM’s to PA’s to reception desks in hotels.
